Girne American College student year 5 Saffet Özmenek has ranked 4th in Inter-Primary Schools Turkey Athletics Championship long jump branch by scoring 4.84 meters.

Following the breaking of the 15 years of unbreakable record of North Cyprus Özmenek has ranked 4th by 4.84 meters as a TRNC representative athlete in Turkey.
